Baskets of Africa

These genuine Bolga baskets are exclusively woven by the indigenous Gurune people around the town of Bolgatanga in Northern Ghana. The wire baskets are made by the men of the Zulu Tribe. The weaving group has a mission: assisting the rural people of Northern Ghana to earn good incomes in order to care for their children. They are a part of the Fair Trade Federation and Owl Creek Ceramics is proud to be sellers of these baskets. We are unable to sell the baskets on our ETSY Shop for they are not made by us but you may purchase these wonderful baskets from our studio. For non local buyers please contact us and we can arrange payment and shipment. Contact can be by email/phone.
