Owl Creek Ceramics is located midway between Temple, TX and Gatesville, TX off Highway 36. We are
17 miles from Temple, 18 miles from Gatesville, and 18 miles from Killeen if you are able to come through Fort Hood up East
Range Road. Coming from Temple the turn off is Owl Creek Rd but coming from Gatesville the turn off is FM 184. FM 184 and
Owl Creek Rd are actually the same road the name and number change at the Coryell/Bell county line about ½ mile from
our studio. Even if you are not interested in ceramics the drive is beautiful and in recent years traffic has increased down
our country road here. The road is paved but twist and turns along the Northeasten Ft. Hood Reservation boundary. If interested
in seeing our products be sure to call before coming and if you get no answer leave us a message and we will return your call.
We have a big red house, a red barn with a Texas Flag painted on the side, and our studio/workshop is also red. Kinda hard
to miss, so come on out!!
From Gatesville, TX
Take Hwy 36 East towards Temple, TX. After passing through
the town of Flat look for the first paved road (FM 184) on the right. Take FM 184 for 6.5 miles and Owl Creek Ceramics will
be located on the right. You can't miss it, it is a big Red House, little red house, and red barn with a Texas Flag painted
From Temple, TX
Take Hwy 36 West towards Gatesville, Tx and after passing over the Leon River
bridge take a left on the first paved road (Owl Creek Rd). Stay on Owl Creek Rd for 4.5 miles and on the left will be Owl
Creek Ceramics. You can't miss it, it is a big Red House, little red house, and red barn with a Texas Flag painted on it.
Be careful for when you turn on Owl Creek Rd at the 2.5 mile mark there will be a road that forks off to the left. DO NOT
TAKE THE FORK! Owl Creek Rd is paved but it twist and turns and it seems further than 4.5 miles but it isn't.
